This month, Sydney drew a crowd of more than 250 travel professionals at the Sofitel Darling Harbour for Travel Daily's inaugural Travel24 event. And as expected, an event like this brings the best of the best of our industry to town. That means of course, several amazing Skålleagues in the room, including two exceptional members who were also speakers at the event. Congrats Charlie Trevena (Skål Perth) and Lori Modde (Skål Sydney). Our National Director of Communications, the EXTRAordinary, Mel Brown ensured there was a Skål photo op taken on the day. Thanks Mel!

Minister for Trade and Tourism, Senator Don Farrell delivered a keynote address, and I think he summed up travel brilliantly when he said, “industry is nothing without each and every one of you, who dedicate your time, energy and effort to ensure visitors, both from home and abroad, have the adventure of a lifetime”. This applies to our wonderful world of Skål too, so please take the time, energy and effort to get yourself up to Cairns next month for a collective adventure (and sun!)
